Will America Accept the fact that "We are One."

It is dishearteding when so called educated people become surprise that 98% of second generation black's and white's are offspring of eachother with the news that Michelle Obama had a white link. They felt like this was such a great find that the first lady of the United States linked to slavery.

My view from the Mid-Alantic region is when black and white people accept the fact that we built this country and we are linked by blood not by skin color.

From reading other blogs on the issue I dont think anyone was surprised, our heritage is common knowledge to everyone considering the history of our country. I personally wouldve been surprised if there wasnt a white link. It only shows that these black, white, "latino" factions are mostly social constructs liberals use to divide us rather being based on science. We all have the American story running through our veins.

I think it is rather widely known that most blacks have white blood, most whites do not have Black blood, so what you saying isn't correct. In any event that doesn't mean white and black Americans are the same, we have different cultures and a far different experience and history in this nation. Anyway only a racist would think we all need to be the same.
