God willing, I will be in Fort Worth, TX Sept. 26th and 27th at the DFW Literary Soulfest. I will be promoting my book, "The 13th Amendment Freedom Week Manual". I am scheduled to do a workshop that Saturday at 4 O'clock P.M. The event is sponsored by "The Dock Bookshop" located at 6637 Meadowbrook Dr., 817-457-5700. If you are in the area, come out and give me support. I will be discussing ideas about freedom and many of the ideas promoted on this site. I anticipate going up against a lot of "heavy hitters" who support the Liberal/Democrat/Socialist mindset. Your support and contributions could have a big impact in such a venue. If I get more info about this event, I will let anyone interested know; but of course, you can google or call them yourself.

I read Atlas Shrugged for the first time last year during the '08 Presidential campaign and it was frightening how prescient the book was. Now it's even scarier that Obama was elected and is doing his best to dismantle the free market by punishing the "makers" and rewarding the "takers". I pray that his policies are not allowed to play out to their logical conclusion or it will be disaster for all of us.

It is interesting you mentioned this book because it has received a lot of mention in the media lately with all that is going on with politics and the economy right now. I think Rand might been ahead of time even in the "fictional" sense.

I'm currently re-readng Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" It's amazing how poignant this book is 25 years after Rand's death. The fictional world Rand writes about where the "producers" and capitalists are demonized is rapidly coming to pass under this new administration. Rand was a true sage!
