how are prez o's politics/policies murderous sista dianne? being married to one - i think catholics fall on the side of liberal, as a group. although that risks painting all with the same brush - an act i hate on principle.

Email I received from the Senate Republican Conference:

Hi everyone,

I’m pleased to announce that Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, a member of the Senate Budget and Armed Services Committees, will be holding a special blogger conference call Monday at 1:45 PM Eastern to discuss the president’s $3.5 trillion budget plan and his concerns about the level of defense spending being proposed. Sen. Graham said earlier this week that the Obama budget takes “a very reckless view of national defense.”

After voting against the Democrats’ budget resolution in committee, Sen. Graham said, “The Democratic budget proposal makes it virtually impossible for future generations to enjoy the same standard of living as their parents and grandparents. The American people want change but I fear the Senate Democratic and President Obama budget is change our nation simply cannot afford.”

As always, on the call, Sen. Graham will take your questions and comments. Hope you can join us!

If you plan on calling in, please give me a quick RSVP so I can let the senator know who will be on.

Our guest:

* Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)

Topics:

* The president’s budget
* Defense spending plans
* Your questions & comments

Call-in information:

Can you provide a link to your blog DL?
Kevin Jackson Comment by Kevin Jackson on March 27, 2009 at 12:05am
I'm not technical enough to do it, nor do I have the time. The blog, my radio show, video production, and oh...a job! But I will absolutely get my 700 or so per day people redirected to blogs that have impact, per DL's input.

If people are serious about this, I have a few ideas, but somebody else has to take the lead on it. I just don't have the time to try and coordinate all of it. Maybe we can have someone design us a wiki that will allow participants to put a link or RSS feed to a "post of the day" that they want to highlight. No one is explicitly endorsing a particular blog and it will be to each of us to keep it updated. Each blogger can put the wiki on their individual blog.

I was thinking of devoting some space on my website to list sources as a means of building coalitions.
Blogs would be a good source of opinion on the latest developments in politics.

"As for blog links, it may be a good idea to "list" blogs and their "theme(s)", and then people can decide if they want to get the RSS feeds. This would make it easier to reference them."

I think that may be a good place to test the waters for starters. I personally dont endorse some of the conservative bloggers whether they are black or not. For me it has to be something more than just conservatism that breeds and cultivates the commonality. I'd like to see a minimum code of standards set forth before one "joins" or receives mutual endorsement. In that respect, as Kevin said list the blogs with a brief synoposis and let people choose whether they want to subscribe to it. Question: where's the most obvious place to list them for maximum exposure? Just my ideas. Thanks.

@Dianne - Great point, and one likely to be missed by the MSM and others. Glad somebody said it!

On May 17th, President Obama will be giving the commencement address at Notre Dame University,
how condescending is that, his views are no less
than that of a murderer and an assassin,Have
they lost their minds up there in South Bend, most
people in this country should know that Notre Dame
is one of the leading educational centers for young
Catholics and God fearing students, this is so
frustrating and yet if the powers up there reverse
their decision, the liberal media will call foul, out
comes that so called race card followed by the
likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and all of their
ilk, my friends what are your opinions on this
