On Wednesday, September 15, 2010, my former classmate, Mayor Adrian Fenty of Washington, DC, awakened to news that he had won the nomination to begin his second term in office. The unfortunate news is that he was awarded a nomination that he had not pursued--the DC Republican Party Mayoral nomination.
