As a Black voter has IT ever HAPPENED TO You? POLITICAL PROFILING

Over next few days following the Nov. 6, 2012 election, actually starting the day after the election while going about my daily activates, I was abruptly and randomly stopped and against my will, and while still dazed from the unexpected interruption; then forced by my detainer to engage in an exuberant conversation, and an exaltation of President Obama’s re-election victory and “OUR” opportunity to give him 4 more years. This I began to realized, was being forced upon me solely because of my skin color; by individuals of various ethnic groups (for those liberals out there “non-whites”) and even by some who were African American; whom I think were hire, and paid to harass me and other people of color, as a form of some sort of racial intimidation.

Now I ask you; should independent thinking Black and I be able, just as any other American citizen;… have the individual right to go out into the public domain, without fear of being stopped at any time; for only one apparent reason, then held hostage at “LOADED” conversation point, because we happen to be Black. THIS IS; POLITICAL PROFILING and IT IS WRONG, which needs to be stopped; and stopped now.

Why can’t people of color be free to go to the polling booth and vote for whatever; or whomever we chose and want, without someone else predetermining that for us. Should we be forced into happy conversations about candidates we weren’t happy about and did not vote for; tell me; should we... My fellow people of color, I am telling you; POLITICAL PROFILING IS HERE AND IT IS REAL, and it can and will happen to you…join me in fighting this horrible injustice that THEY are trying to INTIMIDATE US with…I NEED YOUR HELP…IF THIS HAS ALREADY HAPPENED TO YOU...let us unite and stop it before it happens to the least of us…our innocent and vulnerable Black Future; “the children”

From a fellow "cornball brother", I've had the same experience. Depending on the mood I was in, I either said, "yeah, that's great, Obama won" in a far less exuberant voice than they expected. Or, waiting for the look of sheer shock, I told them I'm a Republican and didn't vote for Obama.
